Jaxon's first Christmas

Christmas started with our annual Christmas eve dinner. Aunt Linda, Uncle Neil, Lesley, and Greg prep'ed a fantastic feast. Joe and Tiffany joined after we had finished, but did get to participate in the white elephant gift exchange. I forgot the camera, so no pictures...

Jaxon must have been very excited for Santa to come because he only slept for 2 hours on Christmas Eve. He finally settled down at about 4 am and slept until 6. After exploring what Santa brought in our stockings Grandpa H. watched him for us until 9, while Lora and I got more sleep. Of course he managed to sleep through the opening of all the presents.

He was not feeling very photogenic after opening the presents, but we did get a few pictures in his Christmas outfit (Thanks Aunt Peggy!).

After opening presents we went out for a nice dinner at a restaurant (hooray for no dishes) and Jaxon got to meet Great-Grandma H. We went back to her house and opened presents. She was a bit worried about holding holding him, but we are glad she did.

After this we went to visit Papa Allen and Grandma Kristin. They also watched Jaxon while we had a 3 hour nap. After the nap we had a nice crab dinner and went back to Grandma and Grandpa H's to 'sleep'. Overall a great first Christmas.
